PREPARAING FOR AN IV

Routine blood work (within the last 12 months) is required before your first appointment in order to obtain a baseline status, as well as assess safety, effectiveness, and overall management. For more information about what lab work is required, please feel free to contact us.

Before an IV, it is important to eat a meal, at least enough to feel full before your appointment, as well as to stay hydrated throughout the day, and limit caffeine as much as possible. It is also appropriate to bring snacks, juice, or water if you would like to have during the treatment as well, if needed.
